Are you getting the most out of your digital camera?
Modern DSLR cameras have a wealth of features and a long and complicated manual. It's easy to leave them on Automatic and many people never use 90% of the other options that they have paid for.
Our photography workshops can help!
Based in the area surrounding Hampton Court Palace and Kingston-upon-Thames, they have been created for DSLR users who have some experience but are keen to develop new skills, and also anyone who is considering upgrading to a DSLR and would like to gain an insight into what photographic opportunities this will open up for them.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people, and led by two professional photographers with a wide range of skills and knowledge. Their aim is to ensure that all participants get the most out of their day.
The cost is
£145 per person per day (This includes the Palace entrance fee)
Keith Hern – has his own photography business near Kingston, and is eight years into a mid-life career swap from corporate sales into photography, the opportunity to change appearing after two redundancies. Keith is involved in travel, commercial and people photography, and uses Canon camera equipment.
Mark Goodman - runs a Photography and Web Design business, based very close to Hampton Court Palace, and he has been involved in travel and other photography for the last 25 years. Mark uses Nikon equipment and has an excellent knowledge of the local photographic opportunities.
The workshops take place in a meeting room close to the palace, and start with introductions and discussions of the theory, followed by practical sessions in the Palace grounds and interior rooms, offering ample opportunities to practice new skills.
The day finishes with a review of the photography and with a list of practical tips and ideas to take away. |
